I am visually impaired since birth. I belong to a very small village: Bangasar which is situated in Rawatsar Tahaseel of Hanumangarh District of Rajasthan. When I was 7 year old, I started my studies from Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. In 1976, after passing 8th standard, I left for Ajmer blind school for matriculation and passed the same in 1978. I completed my graduation in 1982 in Indian vocal music, Sanskrit literature and Sociology from S.D. Govt. College, Beawar, Rajasthan. I did M.A. part I in classical vocal music from Savitri Girls College, Ajmer. But, when I came to know that AICB, Delhi has started stenography training course, I left M.A. and joined that course. In November, 1985, I joined Punjab National Bank as stenographer. I got married in 1987 with sighted girl.
Professionally I am a banker and I was promoted as an officer on 14.12.2009. Since 31.05.2012, I have been promoted as manager. And my professional qualification is CAIIB (both parts) from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, Mumbai.
Because of securing higher marks in matriculation examination, my name was appeared in meritorious list for which I was selected for national prize by Government of India under National Scholarship Scheme.
At the age of 27, on 19th March, 1989, I was honored by the President of India for being The Most Efficient Handicapped Employee.
Basically, I like human and moral values and want true friends who can love without any selfishness. I believe in only humanity rather than any religion and I consider my visual impairment as boon of almighty God rather than a curse.
